The exclusive hinged ground-anchor system enables complete assembly of your basketball goal by 2-3 persons without ladders and a scaffold prior to raising it upright. A 42" square steel anchor placed in the gound provides unmatched stability and durability.

Easiest installation and the strongest foundation available.
Goalsetter basketball hoops are the easiest to install of any in-ground basketball hoop on the market. Whether you do it yourself or hire a pro is up to you. In either event, the patented Ground-Hinge Anchor System, provides the strongest foundation available, surpassing the "J-Bolt" method used by popular competitors.
(Costs for professional installation can range from $335 to $400 for goals up to 60" backboard, and $375 to $425 for 72" backboard goals. Prices differ among local Goalsetter Dealers and our Nationwide and Regional Network of Goalsetter Installers.)
Nationwide and Regional Network of Goalsetter Installers.
When a local dealer is not available, refer to our knowledgeable, proven Nationwide and Regional Network of Goalsetter basketball hoop installers. The only installers we will add to our list are those who have successfully installed a system for a Goalsetter customer.
When hiring a pro installer, installation charges can vary depending on system size, your location, and the surface area. A rock-hard surface, or other location irregularities can cause a variation from the ranges stated above. View our list of basketball hoop installers.
Installing a Goalsetter yourself.
Two or three people can install a Goalsetter in-ground basketball hoop without the use of ladders or scaffolds.
The combination of the patented Ground-Anchor Hinge System and the Assembly Lock Plate allow complete assembly of the Goalsetter goal before it is raised upright.
The toughest task of a Goalsetter installation is digging the hole. Yet, at 18" diameter by 48" deep, it's a smaller hole than required for other heavy-duty in-ground systems.
Add 10 to 12 bags of QuickCrete around the anchor hinge. When the cement is completely dry (usually after 48 hours), the rest of the system can be assembled by persons standing on the ground.
You can find detailed assembly instructions in the "Manuals" tab on this page, or in our Customer Service section.
